Best breakfast in my opinion is Pom & Flora‘s at Söder. Super relaxed hang out spot and great food. Love how they serve the breakfast on trays you share.
This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Stockholm. Lived way to close to this place and came by a little to often. Happy baristas makes a good cup of joe and that’s exactly what’s going on here. We got to place a stack of Bitchslap mags here as well….thanks Drop Coffee and thanks Benjamin (hand model) and congrats on winning the new Swedish Brewers Cup. Was so lucky to get beans from Drop Coffee from Beanerd Coffee….remember this insta here.
When living in LA we went to Hollywood Farmers Market on the corner of Ivar and Hollywood Blvd every weekend to buy the weeks veggies and fruit. Great quality and good prices and they had this little coffee wagon where we would get our morning coffee….good times! This is the best farmers market I know of in LA. Haven’t been to all but seen a lot and this is my favorite.
Homemade old fashion apple cake found a recipe here..a little more fancy version of the one I got. Pretty pastels. The snow came. A piece of the banana bread I made here. Had to make a test of the swedish semla compared to the danish fastelavnbolle. Not convinced…have tested the one from Fabrique and a homemade version. Think I’ll stick with the fastelavnbolle. My favorite breakfast at Pom & Flora. Fika break at Drop Coffee. Tip fight at Coffice: Laura vs The Bride….also selling the lovely coffee from Drop Coffee.
I really enjoy the breakfast at Pane Vino. It’s simply and just what you need. They make this great müsli with cardamom you get on top of your yogurt. Another good thing is they open at 9 am in the weekends (I am a early bird and hungry when I wake up) In the evening they serve some pretty amazing pizzas, my fave…this week is the porcino pizza (porcini, portobello & forest mushrooms)
vintervikens trädgård is a really cute trädgård where they serve food from their gardens and you can sit under the apple trees and enjoy a cup of coffee and cake. on sundays they have farmers market where you can buy eco, local grown veggies and fruit, bread, honey, juice and jam. really love this place. a must for me is their christmas market 7-8 december.
road-trip to öland with a fabrique kardamumma-bulle and decaf from mellqvist. what a beautiful island. slept in our tiny one person tent, it was very cozy. a bakery sale with the best bread ever…even found a good danish rugbrød. morning coffee with a sea view. stumbled upon an old clog factory where i wanted to buy a pair but had no cash…still talking about those clogs. found a secret garden. fish and new potatoes.
a this & that post mixed with a little flashback friday. tintin on the loose. had breakfast at café blå lotus. a real good cup of coffee at coffice and yep their coffee did do magic. love the concept at coffice where you can get a coffee, work and book a room for meetings. went to färgfabriken to see an ceramic exhibition by sara möller and i thought it was oh so good. you can read more about the exhibit here. what a beauty. sankt johannes kyrka.
