Recipe | Sesame Banana Bread

As well I had just been told my iron levels where low so it was a perfect fit with this overload of sesame seeds in this cake as sesame is a great source of iron. Found the recipe at 101 cookbooks. Check recipe here. Adapted it a little using  1/2 cup / 60 g of agave instead of 3/4  cup / 125 g sugar.

Made a tahin glaze (more sesame for me)

For the glaze:

2 1/2 tbs tahin

1/2 cup / 2 oz / 55g confectioners’ sugar

4-6 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice

Discovering our city | Pane Vino

They make this great müsli with cardamom you get on top of your yogurt. Another good thing is they open at 9 am in the weekends (I am a early bird and hungry when I wake up) In the evening they serve some pretty amazing pizzas, my fave…this week is the porcino pizza (porcini, portobello & forest mushrooms)

Baking a cake, making a video (more on that later) Katarina church. Watermelon popsicles from this summer i forgot to post. Bee pollen and fresh garlic brought home from our fall vacation to portugal…so much more fresh than the ones from the store. Grape, apple, celery juice in the making. When we were living in LA we took a trip to San Francisco for my birthday…..what a looker this city is. Would love to come back and spend more time here. This was during my 2 years as vegan hence the vegan hotdog place. Those hotdogs from Underdog were so good we had to order another round. We took highway 1 from LA and it’s such a scenic route, takes way longer but can recommend it. Here are a few favorit spots of mine:

when living i williamsburg we went to radegast quit a lot of times. it’s this biergarten and they always have fun live bands. they serve bratwurst with sauerkraut and their selection of beers are insane. really really enjoy sitting by the communal tables. they have this roof they can open, pretty darn lovely when it’s 40° in the city during summer.
